GREGG GARDINER
For Humboldt Community Services District Director
I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Humboldt Community Services District Board since 2014.
HCSD provides essential water and wastewater services while maintaining the infrastructure our community depends on.
I’m running for reelection to protect and improve those services — while remembering that every dollar HCSD spends ultimately comes from the people we serve.

MY PRIORITIES
What I Believe HCSD Needs
Reliable Water & Sewer Service
Protect the essential services our community depends upon every day.
Fiscal Accountability
Carefully examine major expenditures, financing alternatives and their long-term impact before asking today's ratepayers to shoulder the cost.
Responsible Infrastructure Investment
Maintain and improve our aging infrastructure while planning intelligently for the next generation.
Affordability
Recognize the impact that increasing water and sewer rates can have on families, seniors and others living on fixed incomes.

Transparency & Independent Judgment
Ask questions, examine alternatives and make decisions based on the best long-term interests of HCSD ratepayers.

WHY I'M RUNNING
HCSD faces important decisions in the years ahead involving infrastructure, rates, financing and our long-term relationship with the City of Eureka.
I believe experience matters when making those decisions. My approach is straightforward: maintain reliable services, plan for the future, spend responsibly, and never forget who is paying the bill.
